Tara Wasilieff, P.Eng. is an Electrical Engineer currently working for ATCO Electricity. Tara has worked in the electric utility industry across Western Canada in a variety of different roles with most of her career in Transmission and Operations Planning. In her current role as a Transmission Planning Engineer she models the electric transmission system to connect generation and large industrial customers and is excited about future grid modernization and renewable energy projects. Tara has two elementary school-aged children and enjoys volunteering in the community. She is currently the Treasurer with APEGA Edmonton Branch Executive and has been an active member of the APEGA Edmonton Branch for the past three years, where she has focused on planning and leading Elementary Science Nights and Professional Development Events. She is currently a mentor with U of A WiSE/WiSER Mentorship Program.
